Shinto has been open for business since May, 2019. Situated in Älvsjö, we offer sushi and Korean food, but the menu varies depending on the season and covers the whole of Asia.
Kyle Park came to Sweden in 2011, and has since had the opportunity to work at several different restaurants in Stockholm and surrounding suburbs. Among other things, he has worked at Clarion Hotel in Arlanda Airport, and Ling Long in Östermalm.
The concept that we at Shinto believe in is that you as guests should get an insight into how to cook good Asian food, and that you should ultimately be able to cook it yourself.
Later on, we want to offer a basic menu that lasts all year round and a seasonal one that is adapted based on which ingredients are the freshest for the season. Quality precedes price, and people should be able to trust that we use the best raw materials.
If you are curious about how we cook the food, you are welcome to see how it's done while we prepare it. Finally, I want my guests to be able to cook the food themselves in such a way that we in the restaurant prepare it, and that our guests can finish cooking it at home.
